Set to open next month in London is a hotel entirely dedicated to the top tipple of gin and demand is already reaching dizzy heights.
The Distillery will open its doors at 186 Portobello Road on December 18 and offers four floors of boozy delights for adults, plus three boutique bedrooms overlooking the market.
The ground floor is designed as resting room with gin barrels suspended from the ceiling and spirits from around the world on offer.
The first floor is home to the GinTonica restaurant and bar, designed to celebrate the classic bowl-shaped gin glass, the Copa de Balón, as well as the G&T.
On the top floor there is a private dining room called the Boardroom, with another bar and the three boutique bedrooms, each with a minibar and record player, with a starting rate of £125 per night.
The Ginstitute, where guests can learn how to make their own gin, is also being moved to The Distillery hotel along with a gin museum that takes guests through the 300-year history of the juniper-based spirit.
The hotel, a take on the Victorian gin palace, is the brainchild of Ged Feltham and Jake Burger, co-founders of Portobello Road Gin and looks set to be a sure-fire success when it launches next month.
