Glasgow’s Blythswood Square Hotel launches ‘Millennial Monday’ to target lucrative sector

Blythwood Square Hotel in Glasgow has found a new way to target the younger crowd and encourage them to use its facilities, by launching ‘Millennial Monday’.

The hotel is hoping the new creative hub will tempt Glasgow bloggers and digital influencers to use its space to work and hang out together.

Every Monday, the hotel will offer city influencers a place to tweet, blog and hang-out in with complimentary tea or coffee with refills, or smoothies served throughout the day as well as morning croissants and pastries in the Salon Bar, all completely free of charge.

Blythswood Square Hotel general manager, Murray Thomson said: “Millennials are the next largest demographic of hotel guests that our hospitality industry will serve and it is the largest demographic currently employed in our hotel.

“Millennials travel more than others and beyond just catering to hotel guests, Blythswood Square Hotel want to engage with our local voices and encourage them to be part of our future in the city.”

To be part of ‘Millennial Monday’, Blythswood Square Hotel is asking people to get in contact via the hotel’s Twitter or Instagram accounts.
