Gold Key Media has come on board to sponsor the Boutique Hotelier Personal Service Star Awards, which celebrates hard-working staff at independent, lifestyle and boutique hotels up and down the country.
The company, which joins Mitre Linen, Star Quality Hospitality, InstaSupply and Miele Professional as supporters of the event, is passionate about recognising those dedicated members of staff and is delighted to support the prestigious event on October 18.
Chris Horn, managing director says: “Gold Key Media have always worked very closely with the hotel industry, and we understand that hard working staff are instrumental to the smooth running of a successful hotel. We want to support initiatives which reward those striving to make a difference in this industry. Gold Key Media and Boutique Hotelier have worked together for the past few years, as both companies have recognised how successful this area of the industry has been over recent years, and how much it has evolved as the fastest growing sector of the hospitality industry.”
Launched in 2014 to recognise those staff members working tirelessly in boutique hotels up and down the country, the Boutique Hotelier Personal Service Star Awards celebrate a total of 11 employees in a range of categories, including this year’s new addition, General Manager of the Year.
Also new for this year is the formation of a judging panel, made up of top hospitality experts who will chose the winners from the final shortlists and be revealed in a few weeks’ time.
The nominations process officially opens in July online and in print, and general managers, owners and senior heads of departments are encouraged to put forward their most impressive employees.
The process will close at the end of September before the shortlists are announced and put forward to the judges who will then decide on the winners.
The Boutique Hotelier Personal Service Star Awards take place on October 18th at London’s Hilton Olympia, just a stone’s throw from the exhibition venue for the Independent Hotel Show.
Duncan Macgillivray, deputy managing director adds: “The Boutique Hotelier Awards promote, encourage and reward good practice within the industry. These awards provide an opportunity for all of us to wave the flag, and congratulate the hard working individuals and teams that strive tirelessly to achieve the very best standards at their properties. This ensures the industry is always progressing and cements the UK’s position as a world leader in hospitality.”
