The two AA Rosette awarded Greenhouse Restaurant at the Best Western Plus Castle Green Hotel in Kendal has trounced Lucknam Park and Plas Dinas Country House to walk away with the overall Hotel Restaurant of the Year Award at the inaugural Food Awards England and Wales.
Accolades were given following months of public nominations across 26 specialist categories from best Street Food, to Fine Dining Restaurant of the Year. Regional winners were: North – The Greenhouse Restaurant (Castle Green Hotel, Kendal); Midlands – Hogarths Brassiere (Hogarths Hotel & Restaurant, Solihull); South – The Park Restaurant (Lucknam Park Hotel, Wiltshire) and Wales – Plas Dinas Country House (Gwynedd).
