Hambleton Hall celebrates 35 years with new summer house

Hambleton Hall hotel in Rutland is gearing up to celebrate its 35th anniversary this year and to celebrate is opening a new outdoor space in the form of a cosy Sitooterie in the hotel’s garden.

The hotel, which is part of Relais and Chateaux as well as Pride of Britain Hotels consortiums, was established in 1980 by Tim and Stefa Hart and transformed into a beautiful country retreat consisting of 17 bedrooms.

Now 35 years on and still under the ownership of the Harts, Hambleton Hall has won numerous awards and earned a Michelin star for its dining efforts.

In June the hotel will celebrate its milestone birthday with the official launch of a new outside area on the south terrace within the house’s grounds, which will be available for multipurpose use throughout the year.

General manager, Christopher Hurst told Boutique Hotelier: “Our garden party in June will celebrate our 35 years and will see some of our most regular Hambleton followers come together. This will culminate with the opening of our summer house, as a sort of present to ourselves!”
