The Red House Hotel in Salisbury has been sold by Fleurets to Hampshire Boutique Hotels and will mark the second acquisition for the new owners.
The property, which is located a short distance from Thruxton Motor racing circuit and Stonehenge, comprises 29 bedrooms, a restaurant with 38 covers and conference facilities to host 90 business guests.
The previous owners of Red House Hotel have now retired and passed the successful property over to Hampshire Boutique Hotels, who plan to completely rebrand the business and develop a strong wedding trade, making use of its extensive four acres of grounds.
The hotel will join the award-winning G! Boutique Hotel in Southsea in the new owners’ portfolio.
Will Thomas from Fleurets commented: “The sale of the Red House is a perfect example of the improved market conditions, as at the time of sale there were two other interested parties, who had also submitted offers for the property. I am however delighted we have a now concluded the sale and wish Mr & Mrs Bealing an enjoyable and well earned retirement.
Eli Gray, managing director of G! Boutique Hotels, said "We fell in love with the place from the moment we saw it – we think that with imagination and creativity we can transform the property and the business, and will be applying the same approach of outstanding service married to cutting-edge design and funky, fun features that have made G! Boutique Hotel such a success in Southsea.”
