The George in Odiham, Hampshire has become the sixth addition to the Bel & The Dragon group, having been opened earlier this month by owners Joel Cadbury and Ollie Vigors.
Located in the historic village of Odiham, the Grade-II listed coaching inn is home to 10 bedrooms and has retained many of its original features dating back to 1540.
The hotel’s new look has been designed by Nicola Harding, who has brought a distinct cosy and classic manner to the building with tartan rugs, quirky bookshelves and chunky oak refectory tables.
As well as its 10 boutique bedrooms, the inn offers a new restaurant offering, headed up by chef Ronnie Kimugwe, who previously spent 7 years with Gordon Ramsay, and has created a new menu focusing on local, British food.
Bel & The Dragon’s portfolio now consists of six country inns in the south west of the country, and the group is owned by Longshot ltd, which is founded by Joel Cadbury and Ollie Vigors.
