Luxury hotel group, Harbour Hotels has taken over the Radisson Blu Edwardian in Guildford and will now go full speed ahead on its refurbishment plans.
The 183-bedroom hotel will now be managed by the group, and be renovated to include the brand’s signature Jetty restaurant, a Harbour Grand Cafe and the addition of other luxury facilities.
The award-winning Jetty restaurant concept is headed up by group chef patron Alex Aitken, who oversees the F&B at the nine properties in the Harbour Hotels portfolio.
In addition to The Jetty, the hotel will be home to Harbour Grand Cafe, complete with alfresco terrace, which is expected to open in spring this year.
A new Harbour Spa will also launch, which will use ESPA products and treatments alongside the group’s own Harbour Signature range.
This year is a busy one for Harbour Hotels, with new openings in Brighton, Bristol, Chichester and Guildford, and Southampton and Salcombe to follow in 2017.
