HIT Training has announced a new alliance with a specialised licensed trade provider and a health and safety training company to help hospitality businesses better tailor their training programmes.
HIT, which last year delivered half of all hotel and catering apprenticeships in England, has joined forces with CPL Training, a provider of personal licence training, and Shieldyourself, a specialist in health & safety, food safety and fire safety solutions.
The move means that HIT’s professional apprenticeships and vocational learning programmes now can come with a range of fully accredited, sector-specific short courses which, says HIT MD Jill Whittaker, will benefit businesses large and small.
“These new alliances not only significantly broaden the range of training opportunities available to our clients but also enable employers to take a streamlined, joined-up approach to their sometimes diverse business training needs,” said Whittaker. “This will be of particular interest to multi-site operators who will benefit from a coordinated approach to, and delivery of, their training needs.”
CPL Training Group specialises in face to face and e-learning training to the licensed retail and hospitality sectors. The Group comprises CPL Training, which provides face-to-face training and CPL Online which specialises in business systems solutions and delivers over 1.2 million e-learning courses each year.
Shieldyourself is the UK’s leading innovator in health and safety, fire safety and food safety regulatory compliance for businesses with multiple locations.
