Hospitality sees third biggest growth in employment

The availability of jobs in the hospitality sector grew by 36% in the year from September 2013, according to new data from

The results reflected the continuing decrease in unemployment rate in the UK across a range of sectors, with only real estate and transportation industries having a higher growth rate in the availability of jobs than hospitality (both up 41%).

Commentary from David Rudick, VP International Markets, said: “It’s no surprise that job postings increased in September 2014 compared to the same time last year – reflected by statistics that unemployment has recently fallen below the 2 million mark.”
