Hotel du Vin has been named the winner of the Best Smaller Hotel Chain at The Business Traveller Awards 2015.
The awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of the travel industry’s leading businesses, teams and individuals who have performed outstandingly in their chosen field over the last 12 months.
Hotel du Vin now consists of 16 townhouses and city centre boutique hotels across the UK, ranging from a converted sugar house and asylum, to a brewery and eye hospital.
Its latest acquisition is a property in Stratford-upon-Avon, which marked the boutique brand’s fourth hotel under development in the last 18 months.
Hotel du Vin and Malmaison were purchased earlier this year by Frasers Hospitality for £363m.
Speaking on the award, Lorraine Jarvis, operations director, said: “It’s great to be recognised by such a prestigious award, and is a testament to the hard work and commitment of our people to ensure that we are always creating the very best experiences for our guests. We’ve worked hard to ensure that each of our hotels offers substance and style, with the essence of the brand lying in our unyielding commitment to doing the simple things well.”
