The four-star Barton Grange Hotel near Preston has upped its game following the completion of a £340,000 bedroom refurbishment at the property.
The latest project means that the hotel’s owners the Topping family, have now invested £670k into the hotel since 2014, with a £250k investment into the refurbishment of the hotel’s main Barton Suite and meeting rooms, plus a further £80k ploughed into overhauling its kitchen operations.
The 21 new-look bedrooms at Barton Grange now boast Sky TV, Ruark speakers and Nespresso machines, alongside a new interior design scheme.
The next stage will see corridor renovations at the 51-bed hotel completed by mid-September 2016.
Barton Grange Hotel has seen a 10% growth in occupancy so far this year and is hoping to improve further on this when the upgrades are finalised.
General manager Daniel Rich said: “The hotel sector moves quickly and growing customer expectations means that we constantly have to strive to improve our guest experience. For us, this means upgrading our final bedrooms, the Garden Rooms, and then improvements to our lounge area next year.”
