Hotelier Tudor Hopkins acquires Bath’s Old Manor Hotel

Hotelier Tudor Hopkins has acquired the historic Old Manor Hotel in Bradford on Avon, Bath for an undisclosed sum. 

Hopkins, who has been in the industry for a number of years and trained at London’s Connaught and Grosvenor hotels, plans to refurbish the property and restore original features, according to a report in Insider Media Limited

The Old Manor Hotel, which dates back to the mid-1600, will have a renewed focus on weddings and events under its new management.

"This is a wonderful 500 year old manor house with amazing potential. It’s just in need of a good shake, Hopkins told the publication.

The hotel is located is situation on a site mentioned in the Domesday Book and was once part of the Abbess of Glastonbury’s estate.
