Hambleton Hall is gearing up to celebrate its 35th year in July. It has been owned and run by Tim and Stefa Hart ever since its opening in 1980.
The theme that runs through the house hotel is country chic and it has kept these firm foundations since its humble beginnings, when it was founded by the Harts as a Victorian coaching house.
All the fixtures, fittings and interior design have all been sourced and styled by Stefa Hart herself.
The hotel also has an outdoor pool which is open to guests from May through to September.
Hambleton Bakery is also owned by the Harts, an enterprise started in 2009 with the hotel's former sous chef Julian Carter at the helm. It has grown from 2 staff members to employing more than 70 staff.
The hotel is home to 17 bedrooms with four categories: Standard, Master, Suite and Superior, each with a slightly different price bracket.
Many of the bedrooms overlook the picturesque Rutland Water.
Hambleton's bar is stocked to the brim and the hotel's sommelier has been a part of the staff force for more than 20 years.
The hotel's gardens are constantly evolving and July will mark the launch of Hambleton's new summer house offering.
