Cliff House Hotel in Southbourne has just celebrated its year anniversary. The 14-bedroom boutique is the first from CEO of Food Show, Andrew Gosling.
Previously a Salvation Army building, the 14 bedrooms of the hotel needed to be updated when Andrew first bought the property in 2013.
The next stage of renovations will see every bathroom be given a makeover, and upgraded to boost a more modern, sleek feel.
The hotel's lounge area is stunning and makes a wonderful first impression. When guests first arrive, they are encouraged to take a seat while they are checked in on an iPad.
Cliff House Hotel's gardens have also been redone and Andrew has big plans to roll out more events in this area in the coming months, including hog roasts and a big paella. He also wants to install an outside kitchen next year.
The outdoor area is very popular with the locals in Bournemouth, who often frequent the hotel on Saturday mornings with their dogs to sit and enjoy the sunshine.
As CEO of Food Show in London, Andrew works to bring a lot of the big food trends down to the hotel, with his chefs in London working closely with the chefs at Cliff House to devise menus and come up with new ideas.
