The rooms have all be furnished ultilising local craftspeople and will be available on B&B basis, where guests will be served breakfast staples from the likes of Ginger Pig, Paul and Allpress. Each bedroom has been decorated to fit with the aesthetic of the building, which dates back to 1884, and features Hypnos Beds, patterned throws from Mandal Veveri, digital Ruark Audio radios and Nespresso coffee machines. The greenhouse is also available to hire as a private dining space and the herbs and vegetables grown on the rooftop are used in the kitchen and the bar.
The Culpeper in Spitalfields has completed the final phase of works in opening five new boutique bedrooms, as it makes its first foray into accommodation. The pub and restaurant in East London, named after Nicholas Culpeper, operates over four floors to include eating and drinking space, a rooftop, greenhouse, garden and now the five bedrooms. The Culpeper has a traditional pub on the ground floor, a restaurant dining room on the first floor and a greenhouse and garden on the rooftop.
