The Fish is the third phase of an extensive redevelopment on the estate, which is also home to Dormy House and Foxhill Manor - an eight-bedroom, private house hotel which opened in March 2014. Farncombe is now the only estate in the UK which offers a 3*, 4* and 5* hotel offering.
The menu is overseen by Head Chef Mark Coleman and is centred around British seasonal dishes and local Cotswold produce served in a gastro-buffet style.
It is laid out in a village-style with the guestrooms (43 standard and superior rooms and four junior suites) spread throughout three refurbished buildings; The Farmhouse, The Outhouse and The Stables.
Each bedroom has its own contemporary bathroom with sleek fixtures and fittings.
The Scandi-chic inspired interiors also include stylish free standing baths.
A palette of greens, greys, blues and splashes of yellow create light, bright and airy guestrooms with little touches including hand-made furniture, fresh flowers, speciality teas and cafetieres.
The colour hues complement the hotel's country surroundings.
The lounge area is cosy and modern, and gives the feeling of being in the comfort of a friend's home.
The village retreat is being marketed as an 'affordable boutique' set on the 400 acre Farncombe site.
The Fish also complete with a games room in the Lodge, inviting guests to play pool, darts or just chill out on a beanbag and watch a film.
