With the industry’s help the group have secured an incredible selection of raffle prizes to help raise money for the two nominated charities including a week stay in a luxury resort in Thailand, a luxury watch, and prizes from Gleneagles, Le Manoir Quat Saison, Browns, Chesterfield, The Ritz and Hotel Gotham, among others.

Co-ordinating and riding in the event will be Chris Horn, managing director of Gold Key Media. “Last year we created this event by cycling from London to Paris and raising £17,000 for Cancer Charities. The event was such a great success for very worthwhile causes. We have now decided to make it an annual and combined industry event. This year’s trip is longer and more challenging. We have doubled the amount of riders and plan to raise lots more money for these very worthy charities as a consequence.”

Joint co-ordinator of the event and rider is Oliver Milne Watson, president of the AICR UK and commercial manager at The Beaumont Hotel Mayfair. “I am delighted to be involved in this great event and adventure this year again. Last year’s ride to Paris was an amazing experience which helped to raise a lot of money for charity.”
