One of Northern Ireland’s most popular boutique hotels has been put up for sale with a £1m price tag.
Banbridge Belmont Hotel, a country house-style property that also hosts weddings and live music events, has instructed estate agents to find a buyer.
The hotel has been owned by the Banbridge family for generations according to the Belfast Telegraph, but it says they have now decided to place the 12-bedroomed boutique hotel on the market.
The hotel is contained within an old mill house, which is a listed building, while an extension has been built to house events.
Stuart Draffin, director and head of agency at commercial property agents Lambert Smith Hampton, suggested the hotel is likely to find a buyer quickly judging by the initial response.
“We are already encouraged by the level of interest towards the hotel being shown by both local operators and those from further afield,” he said.
The hotel is located beside the Famous Bronte Homelands and is close to a host of leisure facilities such as golf, tennis, pony trekking, scenic walks and fishing.
