International hotelier appointed to head up Corinthia London

Corinthia Hotel London has announced the appointment of international hotelier Thomas M. Fischer as the luxury hotel’s new general manager.

Fischer, who joins the five-star establishment from his position as general manager at Corinthia Hotel Budapest, has more than 21 years’ experience in luxury hospitality and will now oversee the day-to-day operation of the luxury London property.

Fischer achieved mammoth success during his time in Budapest and after joining Corinthia Hotel Budapest in 2012, was awarded the title of Hungary’s Hotel of the Year 2014 and then went on to be named Budapest’s Hotelier of the Year’ for 2015 at the Best of Budapest & Hungary awards.

During his two decades’ experience in luxury hospitality, Fischer has also worked with leading brands, including Kempinski, Hyatt, and Hilton in Germany, London, China, and the Middle East.
“Moving from Corinthia Budapest to the group’s flagship London hotel feels like the perfect next step for me. I look forward to building Corinthia London’s global reputation as an iconic world-class hotel,” said Thomas M. Fischer.
