Former Jamie’s Italian head chef is set to lead the kitchen at Hotel Indigo York following the appointment by Splendid Hospitality Group.
The group has brought in Oliver Bell to be the head chef of the 101-bedroom location.
Joining the group with over 10 years’ culinary experience, Bell will oversee all food operations in the day to day running of the hotel’s restaurant, No.88 Walmgate.
Prior to joining the team at Hotel Indigo York, Bell worked for Jamie’s Italian as head chef growing from sous chef to head chef in six years.

Hotel Indigo York is currently ranked 3rd place out of 47 hotels in York.
