The winners of the 2017 Boutique Hotelier Personal Service Star Awards have now been decided upon.

As anticipation builds for the official ceremony taking place a week today, Monday saw the five judges come together in London to cast their votes and share their opinions on who should be crowned victorious in 10 categories.

Peter Hancock, chief executive of Pride of Britain Hotels; PJ Kenny, general manager at The Hoxton; Carrie Wicks, industry consultant and former boss at Firmdale; Giovanna Grossi from The AA and Lorraine Dale, head housekeeper at the Royal Household, Windsor Castle, plus Zoe Monk and Anne-Marie Judge from Boutique Hotelier, spent the day poring over each candidate and meticulously reading through each nomination to reach a final decision.

A total of 10 winners were chosen from the shortlists, with one highly commended also being selected for the General Manager of the Year category. From the Housekeeping Managers to the Bar, Restaurant and Reservations Managers, the judging panel were confident to have made the right decisions and picked the best of the best in each field from some of the country’s top hotels.

Now the countdown is on for the big reveal, with the Boutique Hotelier Personal Service Star Awards ceremony taking place on Tuesday 17th October at Hilton Olympia London, where the winners will officially be announced.

Doors will open at 7pm and already hundreds of hoteliers and staff from properties up and down the country have secured their place on the guest list. The event is free for hoteliers and staff to attend and all you need to do is email zoe.monk@itppromedia.com

This year the event is supported by Mitre Linen; Star Quality Hospitality; Tradelinens; Chrysalis and Avvio.
