London boutique hotel, La Suite West – Hyde Park, has appointed James Jude as its new general manager.
Jude joins the luxury hotel, designed by top interiors expert Anouska Hempel, following three years at Doubletree by Hilton London Marble Arch, where he was director of sales and marketing.
Prior to DoubleTree, he also held senior leadership positions covering sales and general management with a number of well-known hospitality brands.
Some of his recent career highlights include spearheading the brand transition of an acquired Hilton, updating management styles, philosophy and delivery. His work with various luxury hotel and leisure groups has seen Jude work both with and for fellow senior managers; board executives and also a range of local third party stakeholders, large-scale suppliers and more.
As part of his new role at LA Suite West, he will focus on revenue management, developing a consistent sales strategy and streamlining operations.

La Suite West – Hyde Park is part of a row of 19th century Victorian townhouses in the capital. Its RAW restaurant was awarded ‘Best Vegan Menu’ at the PETA UK Vegan Food Awards in 2015 recognised for its mocktails, afternoon tea and à la carte menu consisting of vegan friendly and raw cuisine.
