L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa debuts completed £2m refurbishment

L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa in Jersey has unveiled its updated look having completed a £2m refurbishment project.

The hotel, which is part of Hand Picked Hotels, has renovated its bedrooms, function spaces, lounge areas and spa.

All 106 guestrooms and suites at the hotel, with the majority featuring balconies, have been updated with new electronic key systems and button-access reverse cycle air conditioning.

The hotel’s primary function suite, The Crystal Room which can accommodate up to 300 guests, and the adjoining Rose Lounge for reception drinks and afternoon teas, have both been updated with refreshed décor in neutral tones.

The Drawing Room, with space for up to 50 guests, has been modernised and now includes an integrated sound system ideal for conferences, meetings and private events.

To complete the upgrade a new sun terrace has been developed adjacent to the 15m indoor swimming pool alongside further enhancements to the hotel’s health club and spa include upgraded changing rooms and new power showers.

L’Horizon Beach Hotel was originally built in 1850 by George Hicks, a colonel in the Benhal Army, and today the hotel has 4 AA silver stars, 2 AA rosettes in its restaurant, The Grill, 106 bedrooms including four feature suites and a health club and spa with an indoor pool, a sleep room and six treatment rooms offering Elemis beauty and holistic therapies.
