A Victorian guest house in Loch Awe in Argyll has been put up for sale by its owners who have operated the property since 1980.

Craig Villa Guest House, situated in the village of Dalmally, is on the market with Christie + Co for £380,000 as the current owners look to embark on a career change overseas.

The six-bedroom property has been owned and operated by two generations of the same family since 1980, and is currently owned by Rebecca and Emma Cressey.

The property sits in approximately 1.5 acres of land, surrounded by the mountains of Strath of Orchy in its picturesque location.

Stuart Drysdale of Christie + Co’s Glasgow office is handling the sale, he comments: “Craig Villa offers a prospective purchaser an exciting business opportunity in an idyllic location. We are sure there will be a high level of interest from those seeking a lifestyle change.

“A key attraction of the property is its spacious owners’ apartment, which includes a modern kitchen, dining area, lounge and four bedrooms. In addition to the existing property, the large site provides an excellent development opportunity, with outline planning permission having been approved for the construction of a detached house to the rear of the plot.”
