Luxury London five-star boutique, Courthouse Hotel in Soho’s Carnaby Street, has revealed plans to transform its outdoor rooftop space into the Soho Ski Terrace ready for winter.
The recently refurbished area at the hotel is aiming to become a “cosy haven high above Central London” when it opens in October.
With soft lighting and a design inspired by the retro ski chalets of the 1950’s, the terrace will be decked out in plush, soft furnishings, with candle-lit lanterns, and blankets on offer to guests.
The walls will be adorned with retro ski posters and a new menu will also be launched to complement the new space.
Food highlights includes smoky chorizo cooked in red wine; mini chicken sliders with a spicy relish and the signature hot sticky toffee pudding.
There will be a selection of interesting warming drinks on offer too, including mint hot chocolate served in a rustic copper mug with peppermint Schnapps and whipped cream and a ‘rooftop warmer’ with maple whiskey and dark chocolate syrup.
The new rooftop chalet-inspired Soho Ski Terrace will have capacity for 80 standing and 60 sitting when it opens next month and will be available for corporate events and seasonal private parties also.
