Boutique hotel, The Georgian House in London, has created two Harry Potter-inspired bedrooms to give guests a truly magical experience.
Visitors to the London townhouse can now choose to sleep in the ‘wizard’s chambers’, complete with four-poster beds, cauldrons, potion bottles and other wizardly details, ideal for Potter fans everywhere.
The 163-year-old property’s new Hogwarts-themed bedrooms have been designed to resemble the world’s most famous wizard’s living quarters and feature battered trunks, spell books and study tables.
The hotel offers a dedicated ‘Harry Potter Package’, which consists of a one night stay for two people, followed by a ‘Muggle’ breakfast – a twist on the English tradition – before guests hop aboard the official Harry Potter tour bus to ride all the way to the Warner Brothers Studio Tour, just outside London.
Prices start at £249 per night in the smaller wizard’s chambers, which sleeps up to three people.
Speaking to the MailOnline, Serena von der Heyde, partner at The Georgian House said: “The rooms are initially inspired by the Harry Potter films; the draped four-poster beds, and the battered trunks for instance.
“But we really wanted to create a magical experience, so there are lots of original and creative touches, like a wand painted into the hand of a portrait of the Mona Lisa for example.
“The initial idea was to find something to really appeal to children.”
