The cookery school at Lucknam Park has welcomed a new head chef and unveiled a number of new cookery courses to run for the rest of the year.
Lucknam Park in Bath has welcomed introduced Ben Taylor as the new head chef of its cookery school, who is moving from the role of head chef of the hotel’s Brasserie to take up the position.
Taylor first joined Lucknam Park in March 2010, worked in the Michelin-starred The Park restaurant until 2013 when he was promoted to work in the Brasserie.
He will be running an innovative new course calendar, under the guidance of Michelin-starred executive chef Hywel Jones.
There will also be a host of new cooking courses at the school, running from July through to December. These include; Cooking Gastro, Survive as a Student, Autumn Harvest, Glorious Game, with a number of themed courses to celebrate events such as Halloween and Christmas.
There will also be appearances from guest chefs including Matt Tebbutt, a Malaysian Masterclass with Ping Coombes and a Lebanese Cuisine course with Wafaa Powell.
Lucknam Park’s Cookery School is open from Tuesday to Saturday, with six cooking stations for a minimum of 12 participants.
