Luxury hotel, Lucknam Park near Bath is gearing up for Easter by introducing two new chocolate-making classes at its Cookery School.
The Cookery School, run by Ben Taylor who joined the hotel’s Michelin-starred The Park restaurant in March 2010, now boasts a new course calendar designed to suit a range of audiences.
Taylor was promoted to Brasserie head chef in 2013 and now works under the guidance of Michelin-starred executive chef Hywel Jones to design the new courses for the Cookery School.
The first new course – Hand Made Chocolates – will run for one day only on February 25, and will show guests how to make their own truffles and tempered chocolate shells.
The next new feature on the agenda is the Easter Egg Decorating course on March 24, which will be targeted up encouraging adults and children to have a taste of chocolate making.
The half day courses have been priced at £75 per person and include coffee and pastries on arrival, all ingredients, lunch, course folder, Cookery School bag and the use of apron and chef jacket throughout the day.
Lucknam Park Hotel and Spa in Bath, part of Pride of Britain Hotels, has recently been dubbed ‘Britain’s finest country house hotel’ by the Telegraph.
