Cheltenham boutique, No 131, is set to double in size after its operator Lucky Onion secured planning permission for 11 new bedrooms.
The hotel, which is located on the Promenade, is to take over the property next door, no 133, to create new bedrooms and facilities for guests.
Operated by the Lucky Onion, founded by Georgie and Sam Pearman, No 131 is currently home to 11 bedrooms and will double this number when work begins.
A treatment room, florist and bakery are also on the cards with the planned works.
The project comes as the hotel continues to go from strength to strength and the new bedrooms will help meet this increase in demand.
The duo hopes that the expansion will be a six-month project once it gets started and have currently been working on the new designs for the bedrooms.
Speaking to Gloucester Live, she says: “We are really excited to be able to grow No.131 and fulfil demand for bedrooms. We have been having to turn away guests for some time now, and we’re seizing the opportunity to change this.”
The Lucky Onion runs other popular Cheltenham venues such as the Wheatsheaf, the Tavern and No 38 The Park.
