Carden Park Hotel in Chester has reported record visitor figures following a £4m investment into the refurbishment and development of the 196-bed property.
The 1,000 acre resort, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this month, recently installed a new set of luxury suites and unveiled its refurbished bedrooms, plus an extension to its conference and banqueting offering, under the watch of general manager Paul Bayliss.
Carden Park Hotel is owned by Steve Morgan, who celebrated the 20 years in business with more than 100 members of the hotel’s team, many of whom had been part of the workforce since the hotel opened its doors in 1997.
The hotel has also now revealed plans for its next step of development, with a £200k investment in a new terrace and orangery at the front of the hotel.
General manager Bayliss said: “The secret of course is passion, commitment and enthusiasm, planning and refining one’s services by learning from the best, investing in training and development for staff and demanding a world class level of service that allows us to operate seamlessly to the benefit of our guests. We’re extremely excited about the future of Carden Park and working to celebrate another successful 20 years at the forefront of the industry.”
Carden Park Hotel is home to 196 bedrooms, a AA Rosette restaurant, golf courses and spa and is located 20 minutes from the centre of Chester.
