Lainston House in Winchester has announced the appointment of Gauis Wyncoll, who joins the luxury country hotel as general manager.
The 50-bedroom boutique in the Hampshire countryside, part of Exclusive Hotels and Venues, welcomes Wyncoll at an exciting time for the hotel, ahead of the launch the new on-site cookery school.
Wycoll brings a wealth of experience to his new role, with more than 20 years of hotel management experience and more recently completing a 12 year tenure with Macdonald Hotels. He joins Lainston House from his position as general manager at the Compleat Angler in Marlow.
Previous to this, Wyncoll spent 8 years at Forte Hotels Group.
