Michael Caines’ luxury hotel Lympstone Manor partnered up with Nespresso earlier this month for a special afternoon dedicated to cocktails and fast cars at the Devon property.
Guests were welcomed to the special event, which featured Nespresso On Ice, Nespresso cocktails and Formula One cars, for the annual Celebration of Speed that took place on July 11.
The event helped to showcase the role that coffee can play when it comes to entertaining guests throughout a fine-dining experience.
Guests were able to try Nespresso with an ice and cocktail twist during the day, and then give them a chance to taste some rare origins Kilimanjaro Peaberry and Nepal Lamjung coffees which were paired with petite fours by Michelin-starred chef Caines.
Nespresso not only continues to innovate in the coffee industry and elevate the hotel experience for guests but also continues to make a positive impact to the world.
The Nespresso Sustainable Quality Program was co- developed with the Rainforest Alliance, with more than 80% of coffee sourced from AAA farms and over 40% from Rainforest Alliance Certified Farms.
Managing director Francisco Nogueira, from Nespresso UK and Ireland, added: “We are thrilled to be collaborating with the critically-acclaimed Michael Caines, to launch an innovative twist in experiencing coffee. We believe there are lots of ways consumers can enjoy Nespresso – whether that’s after dinner in the evening or a Nespresso iced coffee during the day.”
Lympstone Manor is home to 21 bedrooms and was accepted into Relais & Châteaux after only three months of being open and a Michelin star after only six months of operating.
In July 2017, the hotel pledged to recycle or recover 100% of waste across its bedrooms and fine-dining restaurant in a new partnership.
Then earlier this year, the hotel announced that it is to plant a vineyard within its estate, which will eventually result in the production of classic Champagne-method sparkling wines in 2023.
