Malmaison in the heart of Glasgow has been named Hotel of the Year in the South West category of the Food Awards Scotland.
The 72-bedroom boutique hotel, complete with brassiere and innovative bar, is set in a former Episcopal Church right in Glasgow’s city centre.
It was awarded the prestigious Hotel of the Year title at the Food Awards ceremony at the Crowne Plaza Glasgow on Monday evening, beating off stiff competition from other local establishments.
The awards recognise the best restaurants, hotels and local food producers, with a total of 25 winners being announced.
Event organiser, Yasmin Mahmood told the Evening Times in Glasgow: "It was a fantastic evening and was a great pleasure to be among the top restaurants, takeaways, pubs, bars, hotels and many more who were all representing their businesses."
