The Mariner Hotel, one of Scotland’s longest established hotels, has picked up two nominations in the Aberdeen City and Shire Tourism Awards (ACSTA) 2015.

In business almost 35 years, the popular Atlantis Seafood Restaurant has been shortlisted in the best restaurant experience category on account of its wide range of seafood dishes and finest local produce.

The Cape Horn restaurant, meanwhile, is in the running for the ACSTA award scheme’s best informal eating experience. It opened 17 years ago to complement Atlantis and specialises in home-made, reasonably priced, comfort food. The relaxed dining caters to 400-plus covers a week.
