Marriott International flexes its muscles to debut Westin brand in the UK in 2020

Marriott International is to debut its Westin brand in the UK in London within two years.

The global hotel chain will open The Westin London City in 2020, which will be owned by 4C Hotel Group and managed by RBH.

The Westin London City will be a key part of the redevelopment of the former Queensbridge House site, as well as an independently operated restaurant.

The hotel will be home to 220 bedrooms, including 29 suites, plus the brand’s wellness facility, with swimming pool, 375 sq metre spa, fitness studio.

The site of The Westin London City stretches from Queenhithe Dock and will boost views over the River Thames.

Westin’s growth is continuing to rocket, with the brand portfolio consisting of 200 hotels in nearly 40 countries and territories, having recently opened in Australia and Malaysia.
