Mitre Linen makes it three years in a row for sponsorship of Personal Service Star Awards

Boutique Hotelier can now announce that Mitre Linen has come on board to sponsor the brand’s Personal Service Star Awards, and for the third consecutive year will support the Housekeeping Manager of the Year accolade.

Yesterday saw BH reveal that the hugely successful Personal Service Star Awards will be held once again on the first night of the Independent Hotel Show on October 18, at London’s Hilton Hotel, Olympia, and this year will carry a number of exciting new changes.

As well as a new-look logo and the addition of new category – General Manager of the Year – a judging panel, formed of five industry experts, will now join the event to decide on the winners of each of the 11 categories.

Last year, Angela Ellis, the head housekeeper for The Zetter Group, won the award after impressing with her hard work and commitment.

The Boutique Hotelier Personal Service Star Awards were launched in 2014 to recognise the hard work and dedication of staff working at boutique hotels up and down the country.

Rather than handing out gongs to the owners and business managers, Boutique Hotelier wants to reward those working tirelessly in an industry that often comes without praise and high pay.

Mitre Linen is a trusted British supplier to leading luxury and boutique hotels and is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year.

The company, which has been working within the hospitality industry since 1946, unveiled its biggest ever catalogue earlier this year.

Mitre Linen’s customers include the Royal Household and some of the world’s finest hotels.
