Mitre Linen has once again signed up to sponsor Boutique Hotelier’s Personal Service Star Awards.

It is the fifth consecutive year that the experienced hospitality provider has supported the prestigious annual industry awards.

In October, Mitre Linen’s senior sales manager Keith Porter presented Praxeda Kassami, the head housekeeper of The Cavendish Hotel in London, with the Housekeeping Manager of the Year award.

Praxeda was a deserving winner of the award after her hard work negotiating with suppliers and reducing room costs.

Mitre Linen’s managing director Simon O’Mahony said: “It is an absolute delight for Mitre Linen to sponsor Boutique Hotelier’s Personal Service Star Awards for a fifth year.

“For over 70 years, we have been working at the heart of the hospitality industry and we know how integral the role of a good housekeeper is to the success of a hotel. They can make a real difference to a guest’s stay.

“Every year we are impressed with the hundreds of nominations that pour in and the increasingly high standard. These awards are a fantastic opportunity for hotels of all sizes to give their unsung heroes the recognition they deserve.”

Mitre Linen, holders of the Queen’s Royal Warrant, provides the hospitality industry with the finest linen, bedding, towelling, toiletries, soft furnishings and hotel accessories.
