Boutique Hotelier is delighted to announce that Mitre Linen has come on board to support the Personal Service Star Awards for the second year running.
Taking place at Hilton Olympia on October 20th 2015, the Awards will see the linen company get behind the campaign through sponsorship of the Housekeeping Manager of the Year accolade.
Following the phenomenal success of the 2014 event, the Personal Service Star Awards are back for a second year and will give praise and recognition to the hard-working staff members of the boutique and independent hotel industry and with ten award categories, a wide spectrum of employees will be rewarded. After months of nominations, the awards will culminate at a glittering awards ceremony at Hilton Olympia on October 20th.
Mitre Linen is proud to be sponsoring the awards for the second year running, and is eager to recognise those housekeeping managers who work tirelessly everyday to provide guests with an outstanding service.
Managing director of Mitre Linen, Stephen Broadhurst says: “Every hotel strives to impress their guests to ensure they deliver unsurpassed levels of service and memorable guest experience. None of this is possible without the constant hard work, teamwork and determination of the housekeeping staff. These men and women can only be described as ‘unsung heroes’ with their ability to multi-task, taking on each and every task with enthusiasm in the pursuit of perfection. Their grasp of the wider operation is staggering, adding untold value to their respective hotels and apartments.
“As a frequent user of hotels, I understand and fully appreciate just how much hard work goes on before I check in. You always expect to see the welcoming receptionist and friendly restaurant staff, but it’s what you don’t see that makes the real difference to your stay. In short it’s the housekeeping and service staff that work long hours and take pride in their work to ensure that everything is perfect that makes the true difference.
“I remain overwhelmed by the professionalism and passion of the housekeepers and congratulate the winner in advance!”
