The Montcalm Royal London House has announced details of its anticipated meeting and event facilities and 9th floor private suites, which are to open early next year.
Situated close to Liverpool Street station and Shoreditch, the hotel’s conference and banqueting spaces are designed to be fully versatile. Designed with a top IT spec, the rooms are the first in the UK to offer 10GB bandwidth capacity on demand, so it can cope with peaks in network usage.
Equally, the hotel’s décor and five-star facilities also make it a destination for wedding receptions, and for meetings, banquets, receptions and corporate events as well as private parties and other personal celebrations.
The Royal London Suite can be hired for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as for extended meetings. Available for exclusive use for up to 300 guests, or individually for smaller events from 60 – 100, all private rooms boast natural daylight from large light wells.
The ground floor offers two private spaces for receptions and informal meetings and briefings, while the 9th floor boasts three Palm Suites with private terraces overlooking the city skyline and featuring a host of bespoke features, providing added privacy.
The opening of the conference and banqueting facilities marks phase tqo of the 253-bedroom hotel’s launch – a transformation of an “imposing mid-century office building into a stylish five-star property” with views of London’s skyline.
Phase three of the launch will come in Spring next year. This will feature an urban spa that is to have Versace wall tiles, a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, two treatment rooms, a sauna and steam room.
