A new boutique hotel has opened in Guernsey, consisting of 14 bedrooms all taking design inspiration from Morocco.
Ziggurat sits overlooking the island’s capital of St Peter Port and has been created to add a ‘fresh and fashionable choice’ to the location’s accommodation offering.
The 14 individually-designed bedrooms complement the hotel’s new Middle Eastern restaurant and cocktail lounge, which features a large south-facing outdoor terrace and garden.
The restaurant’s menu is made up of traditional Middle-Eastern inspired dishes, while the cocktail bar comes with a specially-curated menu, made especially for the new property.
Individual heated beach huts will help give guests the option of drinking and dining outside even in the winter months, as well as offering a shisha.
11 of the bedrooms at Ziggurat have a balcony or terrace with seating, and the whole offering is bidding to appeal to a younger crowd.
