Mr & Mrs Smith goes for growth with new hire after 45% YOY boost

Boutique booking travel site has appointed a former Dixons Carphone CMO to fill its first chief growth officer role.

Julian Diment has joined as the travel club looks to build its new chapter of growth following a 45% year-on-year growth in January.

Diment began his career as a trainee at Saatchi & Saatchi and at the age of 25 was promoted to the company’s board. He has since gone on to run the England Football team’s operations at the FA, overseen the entertainment and digital teams at Orange, served as global marketing director at Alfred Dunhill, and was CMO at Carphone Warehouse.

Mr & Mrs Smith co-founder and CEO Ed Orr said: “Hot on the heels of 45 per cent year-on-year growth in January, we are hugely excited to be bringing in someone with such a broad range of sales and marketing knowledge and look forward to benefiting from Julian’s particular expertise in perfecting the customer experience.
