Nadler Hotels has announced the appointment of Charles Prew as the new chairman of the group, effective from October 1st 2014.
Prew takes over from Rupert Clarke, who retired from the role earlier this year after a very successful period of change and growth for the group.
Prew brings with him a wealth of experience from his decades spent in the hospitality and leisure sector. He has previously worked at Grand Metropolitan Hotels and held senior management roles in Ladbroke Hotels, Hilton International, Jarvis Hotels Plc before taking on the role of CEO of Dawnay Shore Hotels and Barceló Hotels UK.
He acted as CEO on behalf of Ernst & Young, the administrators for von Essen Hotels, and is managing director – Hotels for the Buell Group and holds other directorships.
Charles is a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality, a trustee of People 1st and has received an Honorary Professorship from The University of West London.
Nadler CEO, Robert Nadler said: “Charles joins Nadler Hotels at an exciting point in its development, with our fourth hotel under construction in central London and further hotels under consideration.
“His role will be to guide and accelerate the group’s expansion as a hotel operating company, as it looks to take on leases and management contracts whilst continuing to seek further acquisitions for its own hotel developments.”
