A new £1m spa and guest suites have been unveiled at the Dover Marina Hotel, to round off an extensive investment into the property since its takeover in 2011.
The 85-bedroom property, which runs under the Best Western Plus brand, has opened its new Waterfront Spa & Health Club, alongside four new suites and a bridal suite.
The Grade-II listed Regency crescent terrace hotel is now home to a spa with seven treatment rooms, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, changing rooms and showers.
Elemis products and treatments are on offer, as well as Ayurveda treatments which are designed to promote mental and physical wellness.
The hotel’s gym has also been improved, with new Technofit equipment, while personal trainers will be on hand and run classes.
Managing director Mr Kanagaratnam Rajaseelan said: “Everyone who has been involved in this exciting project deserves huge credit. It has been a labour of love and we are delighted with the results. The Waterfront Spa & Health Club sets new standards and my message today is that if you are looking for the best spa in Kent, you should make us your first port of call.”
In addition to the new spa, the hotel has also created four luxurious new suites after acquiring an adjoining part of the terraced building.
The Best Western Plus Dover Marina Hotel & Spa re-opened in 2011 after a multi-million-pound renovation. The property is home to 85 bedrooms, three conference and function rooms and The Waterside Brasserie, bar and beachfront coffee shop.
