A new hotel has opened in Alderney, the third largest of the Channel Islands, to add to the growing hospitality market in the area.
The Adventurer’s Rest, located in the heart of the Island’s capital of St Anne, marks the introduction of a new concept to Alderney, with edgy interiors and individually designed rooms, a world away from the traditional hospitality offering seen previously.
With 20 bedrooms, including two suites, it’s become one of the Island’s largest hotels, and also boasts a new bar, restaurant and an orangery plus two alfresco areas.
The Adventurer’s Rest is an example of the continued investment currently being ploughed into Alderney in a bid to encourage more visitors.
Alderney is part of the Bailiwick of Guernsey, which also includes the islands of Herm and Sark, and lies 23 miles north east of Guernsey and eight miles off the coast of France. It is a 15 minute flight or an hour and a half boat ride from Guernsey.
