The new Artist Residence in Pimlico will be ready to open its doors a week from today, and will be the first branded property from the young hoteliers to offer an in-house restaurant.
The newest hotel offering from design duo Justin Salisbury and Charlotte Newey will take the complete Artist Residence collection up to three, with the Pimlico branch adding to the already established sister properties in Brighton and Cornwall.
The boutique hotel, complete with eight house rooms and two suites, has been eclectically designed and is spread over five floors.
It will be the first Artist Residence to offer a restaurant, which will be headed up by Michael Bremner of 64 degrees, Brighton.
Each room has been designed differently with individually sourced furniture, unique fittings and contemporary prints handpicked by Justin and Charlotte themselves.
The new restaurant will aim to appeal to hotel residents, while also hoping to carve a reputation as a popular standalone eatery.
“The aim was to create a fun, design-led environment, which ultimately centres on fantastic service and hospitality,” explains Charlotte. “We’ve sourced furniture from all over – The Old Cinema in Chiswick and various antique fairs – all of which makes each room completely individual.
“We hope the hotel will appeal to everyone looking for something different in the capital.”
