A new hotel is due to launch in London’s Bethnal Green this October, with facilities and amenities developed in partnership with a number of local businesses.
The East London Hotel will be a new 161-bedroom property and the first hospitality venture for property investment and development company Definition Capital, headed up by Irfan Hussain and Marin Jakisic, who are the owners and operators of the new hotel.
The hotel will also be home to an all-day bar and restaurant space, Due East, which will offer dishes made with locally-sourced ingredients, including sustainable fish and local sourdough from E5 bakery.
In the evening, Due East will showcase signature cocktails, including Paradise Rose developed in partnership with The East London Liquor Company.
Due East will also serve beers and wines that tap into the area’s provenance with the likes of the Square Root Soda’s, Red Church Brewery and GRIND Coffee.
The bedrooms will feature bespoke mattresses from Millbrook made with cashmere, silk and lamb’s wool and soft cotton, plus 43 inch smart TVs and in-room Nespresso coffee machines.
To highlight the opening, the property is giving away a night for two at the hotel on its Instagram page every week day throughout the rest of August.
