Bespoke Hotels unveiled its latest boutique property, The Crescent Victoria, in the seaside resort of Margate, in the south of England yesterday.
The privately-owned Crescent Victoria is managed by GM Matthew Pugsley.
It occupies four floors of a renovated townhouse near the Turner Contemporary Art Gallery, the development of which has drawn more than 1.2m visitors since opening in April 2011 – inspiring a mini boom in the local accommodation inventory, especially in the boutique and lifestyle sector.
Bespoke worked with Canterbury-based interior designer Marilyn Bridgen.
The 40-cover restaurant is helmed by a local boy, head chef Jake Tait who comes from the nearby Isle of Thanet. He has previously worked with Gordon Ramsay at Claridges and at The Botany Bay.
