Titanic Hotel Liverpool, situated in the city’s iconic Stanley Dock, has appointed Brian Connor as the new general manager to oversee daily operations.
Originally from Glasgow, Connor brings more than 23 years’ experience to his new role.
He joins Titanic Hotel Liverpool from Chester’s Doubletree by Hilton, where he served as general manager for four years.
Throughout his career, which began with luxury cruise line Seabourn, he has held various managerial positions with prestigious hotel groups such as De Vere and IHG.
Connor commented: “Having made Liverpool my home in 1998, I was delighted to accept the role as general manager. I have a great passion for the city and its people and believe that it has so much to offer visitors and residents alike.
“It’s great timing for me to begin my role at Titanic Hotel Liverpool. After being awarded both ‘Hotel of the Year’ and ‘Excellence in Business Tourism’ at the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards 2016, I can continue with the good work and develop the level of excellence the hotel has been recognised for. The award represents the pinnacle of hospitality achievement, championing the best in their respective field, which we are immensely proud of.”
The 153-bed luxury four-star Titanic Hotel Liverpool opened in June 2014.
