New commercial healthcheck aims to boost hotel profits


A new product, designed to maximise revenue for hotels, has been launched by Michels & Taylor.

The new Commercial Healthcheck provides hotel owners, investors and managers with a clear insight into the strength of their sales, marketing, PR and revenue management disciplines, in a bid to drive revenue and profit growth.

Every revenue stream is considered for optimisation, from bedrooms, MICE, restaurants and spa and the Healthcheck has been designed to work for any hotel, regardless of size or ownership status.

The process is also overseen by senior commercial leaders, ensuring there is minimal disruption to your hotel throughout the review.

The Commercial Healthcheck involves three stages conducted on site. Phase one focuses on research, the Healthcheck itself, which takes place over two days; phase two involves a debrief session with the team where an action plan is shared. The third and final phase takes place around six months later, to assess progress on the action plan and review the next steps for the business.
